Interior design & CREATIVE DIRECTION | AYRBURN
Ayrburn is a multi-venue hospitality precinct in New Zealand, comprising five distinct spaces across food, wine and produce. Responsible for developing and leading the creative direction across the precinct, ensuring a coherent narrative and visual identity ran through every element, from concept and brand pillars through to custom furniture design, lighting, fixtures, furniture selection, art sourcing and styling.
The Brief
Set within a 160-year-old sheep farm in Arrowtown, New Zealand, Ayrburn was conceived as a multi-venue food and wine destination. The challenge was to create a distinct identity for each venue while developing a cohesive creative narrative that connected the precinct through a shared sense of place, history and contemporary hospitality.
THE CREATIVE DIRECTION
My role focused on shaping the creative narrative and visual identity across seven hospitality venues, ensuring each space possessed its own distinct character while contributing to a cohesive precinct experience. Spanning brand strategy, concept development, furniture selection, styling direction and interior review, the creative direction established a consistent guest experience across every touchpoint.
